April 16- We arrive in Moab
We spent the morning driving from Glenwood Springs to Moab. The last hour was down the 'Scenic Byway' ,Rt 128, with the last miles down the Colorado River. We hoped to find dispersed camping on BLM land which we had scoped out in advance. It is all first come, first serve, so we tried several small areas before finding an opening at Hal Canyon Campground on a sliver of land bordering the Colorado. There are beautiful canyon views and it is fairly quiet.
