We spent today in Arches Park. We needed advance booking for a timed entry due to the popularity of the park. We were headed for a hike at the end of the park road, but stopped many times along the way to ooh and ahh over novel geology here.

We spent the morning hiking the Devil's Garden, a beautiful walk taking in a multitude of arches, spires and fins. There was a lot of walking on the red sandstone 'slick rock' as well as scrambling up slopes, over some ridges and knife edges and sidling along rock slopes.
