Riding bikes on the Olympic Discovery Trail

The Olympic Discovery Trail runs 30 miles along the north of the Olympic Peninsula.

After dropping a truck off at our end point, we drove the crew to our start in Blyn.

It was a terrific day of riding under overcast skies, with lake and mountains mostly in the clouds. We were joined by willing participants Toby and Linda who are staying with us for a couple of days in Sequim, in the Olympic Peninsula.

The Nature Center was a perfect lunch stop.

The ride ended in Port Angeles.

The last miles of our ride took us a few miles out onto the spit of land called Ediz Hook.

When we got there, I had a surprise for everyone. I had forgotten the car key in all the rearranging for the truck drop and transportation. Oops. We had to take an Über back , then return for the car.

Oh, THAT key!
