Third and Last Day on Mt Rainier

Walked the Nesqually Loop Trail with Andrew

 

Gave us a different vantage point on the glacier

and a little more wildlife

                It is hard to grasp the scale of the mountain and the forces at work sculpting it!

Then drove to Bainbridge Island, west of Seattle. Andrew suggested that we visit the Bloedel Reserve.

A beautiful location abounding in mosses, plants and trees.

Ended the day at the lovely home of good friends Toby and Linda, who we will spend a few days with.
